Ask yourself the following questions before you put pen to paper, fingers to keyboard, or brush to canvas.
- What do you see when you look at this picture?
- What do you think of?
- What do you hear?
- What do you feel?
- What do you smell?
- Whose perspective is this?
Now take yourself out of this picture and ask all the same questions again but from your new character's perspective you think it's from. Is it a teenage girl on a reluctant journey? A scared boy running away from home? A puppy who lost his way? What is he thinking, feeling, seeing, hearing? What's locked him on this journey that's so out of focus?
If you feel safe enough to share, please feel free to leave it in the comment section. You have until March 1st. Good luck. And happy writing.

I actually just wanted to comment on Laurie's inspirational quote and couldn't find a comment area for it. Thankyou! I always look at one hour as never enough so I feel like I was just given a whole new way of viewing that. You both are so inspirational to me! :) :) :)

Yeah - true, I shouldn't have put it up in the quotes section beccause it doesn't give you a place to comment but I am so glad you did here.
Yeah, Laurie really inspired me with that comment. I don't recall which book it was she was referring to. It might have been SM. She wrote one hour at a time. I was blown away! I still haven't put it into practive yet but starting this weekend, I will!

Thank you for sharing! :D
So cool! I did it! Don't know where it might go, but it was cool, and it felt like I had been there before. I could picture both in the third person as watching a movie, and first person as being there. Very creative and helpful.
Wasn't really able to envision any one thing in particular...but was able to feel the chaos.
